Bio

Marcus L. Maia (he/they) is a passionate artist who has worked in a wide array of disciplines, ranging from management to sound and projection design and beyond.  His BFA in Stage Management from the University of Southern California’s School of Dramatic Arts has shaped him into a highly collaborative and joyful theatremaker, and they are thrilled to be a part of the heartbeat of the theatrical community. Nothing excites them more than working in tandem with others to model and shape the world all people deserve through stories onstage. Past work includes Pippin dir. Dana Solimando, Weekend Warriors dir. Fran de Leon, Wedlock of the Gods dir. Bayo Akinfemi, and many more. You may find them next as the Associate Sound Designer and Production Engineer for Chavez Ravine! A LA Ghost Story, the first show to debut at the USC School of Dramatic Art’s brand new venue.
